Ingredients

  • 2 medium eggplants (500 g)
  • 1 cup of wheat flour (120 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of salt (30 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered rosemary  (15 g)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (125 ml)
  • 1 cup of sparkling water (250 ml)
  • Absorbent paper

Preparation

  1. First, wash the eggplants well and then cut them into very fine pieces lengthwise.
  2. Then combine the salt and rosemary in a small bowl.
  3. Immerse the eggplant pieces in soda water for 20 minutes, drain them and place them on a plate.
  4. Then heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Dip each piece of eggplant in wheat flour and fry them until golden brown.
  6. Finally, when all the chips are ready, drain them on paper towels, serve them on a plate then sprinkle the mixture with salt and rosemary.

2. Baked cucumber chips

Cucumber is a vegetable rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, B, C, and E, dietary fiber, and essential minerals like  potassium, magnesium, and iron.

Ingredients

  • 2 cucumbers (400 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley (15 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar  (45 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (15 ml)
  • Aluminum foil

Preparation

  1. To start, wash and cut the cucumbers lengthwise then place them on a plate.
  2. Then combine the apple cider vinegar with the olive oil, soy sauce, salt and chopped parsley in a medium bowl.
  3. Soak the cucumber chips in this mixture and place them on a baking sheet with a little aluminum foil  .
  4. Finally, cook them at a temperature of 180 ÂșC for 10 or 15 minutes, until golden brown. Serve and enjoy.

  • 2 cups of pumpkin (240 g)
  • 1 pinch of paprika  (5 g)

  • 1/2 cup of wheat flour (60 g)

  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil (125 ml)
  • 1 spiral vegetable slicer

Preparation

  1. First, take the pumpkin pieces and cut them into spirals to give them the shape of chips.
  2. Then combine the spices and salt in a medium bowl and put the pumpkin pieces in it.
  3. Sprinkle the wheat flour on a plate and roll the crisps in it.
  4. Then heat a pan with sunflower oil and  fry the crisps until golden brown.
