1. For acne-prone skin

The two compounds of this soap, namely aloe vera and rosehip, are two natural elements adapted to eliminate toxins and heal the skin.

These are two good antiseptics that will help us prevent infections and fight acne.

With the use of this soap, your inflammation will be reduced and little by little, the incidence of blackheads, which often appear on the most oily areas of the face, will also decrease.

You will get a healthier, more natural and attractive appearance.

2. For oily skin

How to prepare this rosehip and aloe vera soap

Rosehip soap

Ingredients

  • 500 g olive oil
  • 10 g rosehip oil
  • 70 g of caustic soda
  • 50 g of aloe vera gel
  • 10 g of lavender essential oil
  • 250 ml of water
  • 4 soap molds
  • Gloves and goggles for handling caustic soda

Preparation

  • The first thing to do is to prepare to mix caustic soda with water. For this, it is important to protect yourself well. Use protective goggles and gloves for this.
  • Once you’ve put these two items on the heat, stir and let the mixture heat up in a double boiler to fairly high temperatures.

If you burn yourself or come in contact with caustic soda, apply a little vinegar on yourself. This will give you immediate relief.

  • Now mix the olive oil with the rosehip oil, also heating them in a double boiler. The mixture should reach high temperatures but always over low heat.
  • Then, mix the caustic soda with this combination of rosehip oil / olive oil.
  • Use a spoon to mix the two elements well.
When you see that the preparation has taken on a certain consistency, it’s time to add lavender essential oil and aloe vera gel, which you have previously extracted from the inside of the plant.
  • Then, continue to stir the mixture until obtaining a very homogeneous and consistent paste.
  • Then, pour the mixture inside the molds (previously oiled) to give the soap shape.
  • Let cool for at least a day and then you can carefully unmold your aloe vera and rosehip soap. Use it without moderation!
